Annual Pumpkin Patch Funds Habitat for Humanity Houses
[Published
Oct. 2, 2014, in the Jeffco editions of the Denver Post's YourHub section]
For the 15th consecutive year, there will be a pumpkin patch at the corner of Garrison & Alameda (and another one at 68th & Wadsworth) whose profits go entirely to building a Habitat for Humanity house in Jefferson County. Jeffco Partners for Interfaith Action has funded 14 such homes, largely from the proceeds of pumpkin patches. The patch opens this Saturday and runs through Halloween. Buy your pumpkins here and support a great cause!
